Most chemicals require special storage areas that can be expensive and occupy precious lab space. To reduce the amount of space needed, Mallinckrodt offers salts in the following space-saving packages:

• POLYSTORMOR bottle: The POLYSTORMOR bottle is a lightweight, break-resistant, rectangular-shaped, high-density polyethylene (HDPE) bottle that is ergonomically designed and easier to handle than traditional cylindrical bottles.
  Due to the rectangular shape, you can store 20% more material in the same space as round bottles. Salts and other dry products are available in 125 g, 500 g and 2.5 kg POLYSTORMOR bottles.
• STAKMOR container: The STAKMOR container is a square, reclosable, corrugated cardboard box with a polyethylene liner, plus a tamper evident seal. The square shape allows you to store 25% more product in the same space than with commonly used round fiber drums. Salts and other dry products are available in 12 kg STAKMOR containers.
• POLYSTAKMOR container: The POLYSTAKMOR container is a square, HDPE pail and liner. The square shape allows for 25% more container storage as compared to cylindrical poly pails. In areas such as clean rooms where fiber contamination from cardboard packaging can cause problems, the HDPE construction of the POLYSTAKMOR container is the packaging of choice. The POLYSTAKMOR container also provides an excellent moisture barrier, minimizing clumping of powders or granules. Salts and other dry products are available in 12 kg POLYSTAKMOR containers.
