Acids for ppt Metal Analysis
Mallinckrodt AR Select Plus acids are manufactured specifically for trace metal
analysis in the high ppt to low ppb range. We have engineered the manufacturing and
packaging processes to consistently deliver acids with a maximum impurity level of 0.5 ppb
for 40 elements. Typically values are as low as 100 ppt, allowing you to reliably quantify
samples to <1 ppb. For accuracy, our QC analysis is performed with samples taken
after packaging, not prior, which can artificially enhance the apparent final quality. AR
Select Plus acids are available in both 500 mL and 2.5 L glass bottles, as single units or
cost-saving cases of 6 and 4, respectively.
- State-of-the-art manufacturing and packaging processes ensure the lowest level of metals
of any Mallinckrodt acids. Tested for over 40 elements in the low ppb to high ppt range.
See below for a typical lot analysis.
- To ensure accurate characterization, our analytical methods utilize state-of-the-art
instrumentation: Graphite Furnace, ICP and ICP-Mass Spectrometry.
